As a stage four colorectal cancer survivor and patient, Erin has experienced first-hand the grief, loss, and isolation that often accompanies chronic illness. After caring for her own family members through aging and end-of-life, she was inspired to create Red Clover Creative Arts Therapy, a space for healing in community.
Red clover (trifolium pratense) is an edible herb that has been used for generations as a natural medicine, known more recently as a “women’s health ally” for promoting fertility and easing symptoms of menopause. While not native to the Americas, it has become a pervasive wildflower that attracts pollinators and is enjoyed by various types of grazing animals.
